The warning from the team of Shiba Inu is against ongoing online scams. Scammers are focusing on altcoin investors who have invested in SHIB tokens. The warning was a tweet from Shiba. In this tweet, they explained how the scammer was trying to scam the Shiba Inu community.
Also, they said this in the warning, “A fake Shiba Telegram group is being shared across all social media. The scammers impersonate official accounts and create fake users. These scammers reply to general posts.”
Although Shiba Inu has attracted aspiring crypto millionaires and billionaires, bad actors have stepped up their efforts to target careless investors on social media platforms such as Twitter and Telegram. They tried to impersonate an official account and target hashtags such as #shib #shibarmy #shibaswap, #bone, and #leash.
In addition, Shiba Inu’s scam alert emphasizes that the community does not provide any form of promotional activities, including airdrops and gifts. Investors should avoid sharing wallet keys, credentials, or joining & following fake social media accounts.
Since the success of DOGE and SHIB, there are numerous dog- themed tokens on the market. Lately, SHIB hit an all-time high of $0.000086 on Oct. 28. Since then, it’s been struggling to keep up its value.
